Why Casa Grande?
Casa Grande is located on the southern end of the Phoenix metropolitan area, centrally-located between Phoenix and Tucson. Interstate 8, 10 and the Union Pacific Railroad run through the City, and affordable land prices make it the perfect place for manufacturing, distribution and industrial plants.

Infrastructure
Casa Grande is home to a number of large industrial developments, with more planned soon. The community’s population has doubled since 2000, and it is the largest city in Pinal County.
The City is currently home to Lucid Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer; Abbott Nutrition; Hexcel; Daisy Brand; Frito Lay; Wal-Mart Distribution Center; Tractor Supply Distribution Center and others.
The City’s proximity to the state’s two largest economies, as well as Southern California — via Interstate 8, Interstate 10 and the Union Pacific Railroad — make Casa Grande an attractive location for industrial projects.
Innovation
Casa Grande is located in the heart of Arizona’s Innovation & Technology Corridor. The community is home to Lucid Motors, an electric vehicle manufacturer that will soon be producing its Lucid Air sedans at its Casa Grande plant. The project represents a $700 million investment in the community and is planning on providing 2,000 local jobs.
Nikola Motors, another EV and hydrogen-electric vehicle company — traded on the Nasdaq under NKLA — is planning to build a 1-million square-foot plant in nearby Coolidge, Arizona.
These projects were selected to be located in the Arizona Innovation & Technology Corridor because of the region’s business climate, infrastructure, talent, geographic location and the automotive supply chain in the region.
Education & Quality of Life
The concept of innovation doesn’t exist only in Casa Grande’s business community. The Casa Grande Elementary School District’s philosophy is to build a community of “Learners, Leaders & Innovators.” The district and its counterpart, Casa Grande Union High School District are home to a number of high-scoring schools, and the community also has a variety of private and charter schools.
Central Arizona College (pictured below), has five locations, including one just outside of Casa Grande. The community college has a number of collaborations with local businesses, including an on-site training center for Lucid Motors, which will train employees of the electric vehicle plant in three-week courses.
Casa Grande residents enjoy a unique quality of life that includes a small-town feel, while having the economic and employment opportunities of a big city. Learn more about things to do, places to eat and area attractions.
