This well-loved dog playground features two fenced areas where dogs can engage in off-leash activity and enjoy appropriate socialization specific to their size, age, and personality needs. Each of the enclosures is designated for a specific style of play.

One of them is reserved for use by active dogs and the other for passive ones. The run reserved for active dogs is lined with both gravel and grass. The enclosures encompass over one acre of property, ensuring Fido has plenty of ground to cover in a day's play. With this in mind, it is best for owners to be prepared with the following items: bottled water, a dog dish, and poop bags. It is the responsibility of all owners to ensure their pet's waste has been removed and disposed of promptly.

Park officials appreciate all owner cooperation in this endeavor which ensures a clean play space for all. Bathrooms for public use are available at nearby Ed Hooper Rodeo Park. Ed Hooper Rodeo Park, which shares the same property as A Leash On Life Dog Park, is full of great activities sure to please the whole family.

They do restrict park access to only dogs who have been spayed or neutered. In addition to this, vaccinations and city dog license are recommended.
